Still developing my CSS techniques....
I'm trying to do as much as possible using CSS. This is my latest attempt (which is still under construction). This page was originally created without content (just the framework) in just four lines plus an external style sheet of about 30 lines. Also I wanted to test the effectiveness of using different link styles (from within the css) based on different elements. E.g. note the link styles are different between the left and right columns.
I've now added into the 'maincontent' div a javascript which splits a large block of text into page size portions complete with forward and back buttons to navigate the sections. Details of the script here. This means this page remains static. It is almost re-sizable (not fully tested), and I've got a bit of trouble with the resizing of the right column.
It should be cross browser compatible to boot (bear in mind the bit of javascript though).
Note: The links in the right hand column are inactive other than the home button which will return you to the CSS workshop menu.
