Resource Web Summary This section of the site is a collection of 'home grown' pages and external links to a whole host
of web sites that have either caught my interest, or have been extremely useful to me over the years. It only scratches the surface of the potential wealth to be found on the www, but hopefully
enough to show what can be found in times of need, be it from an elusive song lyric, an original font, a useful utility, the solution to a tricky bit of scripting or the weather in Portugal. |
General Section Summary Since I began developing my website, I've spent countless hours searching the web for solutions to problems and ideas to 'improve' my site. Needless to say 'you can find just about anything' on
your travels. In this set of pages are a collection of links to sites that have been either invaluable to me or caught my eye whilst 'passing through'. Whether they are genuinely useful or just
there to refresh a jaded palate, they are all worth a visit. |
Graphics Section Summary The pages in this section are a collection of articles, tutorials and external links for all things Graphical. |
Photographic Section Summary The pages in this section are a collection of articles, tutorials and external links for all things Photographic. |

Tips & Tricks Section Summary The pages in this section are a collection of tips and tricks that I've picked up from the www. |
Web development section These Web Design and Development pages are my main interest at the moment. There are Links to some really useful Web Sites, Information on Metatags , Frontpage tips and links and basically anything that catches my interest e.g. Hover Buttons, Web Colour palette. There's a Site Search Engine which is worth checking out (no google sponsored ads here), and a Page Password Creator. My experiments with layouts, backgrounds, Home Pages and Menus. References for Cascading Style Sheets (CSS), Colour or Image Background choosers etc.. Show that elusive € symbol by character entity etc.. |
Workshop Section Summary These Workshop pages are a collection of 'works in progress', as whilst I try to improve and develop my own Site, I'm finding more and more tips, tricks and articles from people who've 'been there and done it' already. I try out ideas and re-work examples to suit my pages or just see how things work. Content may change frequently. These workshops also appear under the relevant section menus. They are all here for convenience. |
About this page This page was an exercise in trying to get to grips with layers. I've always had trouble getting my head round the coding. i now realise that i was making it more difficult than it really was. yes, i've resorted to script for the toggle property, i think that's what made it so much easier. <head>
