A handy ASCII table reference. All covered here including the more characters section, consisting of special HTML codes. This was highly useful as I used these codes rather than language sets for the 'foreign' characters (e.g., ö and ç etc.) in my Portugal Travel Section. |
Control Characters | |||||
The ASCII character set - 128 characters (0 to 127 decimal, 0 to FF hexadecimal, and 0 to 177 octal). The first 32 values are non-printing control characters, such as Return and Line feed. These characters can be generated (on the keyboard) by holding down the Control (Ctrl) key while pressing the relevant character key shown in the Control Key column below. | |||||
