 This section is a collection of miscellaneous scripts and bits I've collected whilst developing my site.
There are stacks of sites that have 'free to use (with credit) javascripts. Some are really useful, some are just really clever. Some of my
favourites are here, but the contents of these pages will change as I find new possibly better scripts. As the scripts mount up, I've had to place them on a popup menu accessible from the More... link above, another nifty bit of scripting. |

| 03/2006 I've started to use a
script called
Lightbox which has been slightly 'modded' to produce
Lightbox plus. Its
a script I've been trying to build for at least a year (but I'm not that
clever). It allows me to display or hide an enlargement of a thumbnail (with
or without a caption), with a single click. At the same time it dims the
surrounding background so as not to detract from the image. Its also
'clever' enough to size itself to the screen area available and should the
image be larger than the space available it adds an expansion control to
show the image full size (using scrollbars). Check out the site links for
more information, it might be what you are looking for. 02/2006 A bit of a large project added. Click here for a fully functioning 'mini web' using javascripts for a sliding menu , a scrolling news container, enhanced tooltips, collapsing paragraphs and opening image thumbnails in a new window. |
