This is a General section consisting of a set of pages are a collection of links to all sorts of sites that have been either invaluable to me or caught my eye whilst 'passing through'. Whether they are genuinely useful or just there to refresh a jaded palate, I think they are all worth a visit. Areas of particular interest to me have been developed under their own topic heading. Please let me know if there any other similar sites that might appeal to me.
The Graphics section is a collection of articles, tutorials and external links for all things dealing with Graphics. Whilst this Website was originally developed to display my travel photographs, as time has gone past it has evolved into a site where the 'spin offs' are as plentiful as pictures. This section is such an example. I've tried, in fact am still trying different fonts, changing icons and backgrounds to 'improve' my site so I've put my findings here....
The Photographic section is a collection of articles, tutorials and external links for all things to do with Photography.I'm finding more and more tips, tricks and articles from people who've 'been there and done it' already. I try out ideas and re-work examples to suit my pages or just see how things work. I have particularly enjoyed re-working my photo layouts time and time again, from the asthetic appearance (placing, borders, drop shadows and titling) to coding economy (using css).
The Technical section is a collection of articles, tutorials and external links for all things of a Technical nature. Whilst I try to improve and develop my own Site, I'm finding more and more tips, tricks and articles from people who've 'been there and done it' already. I try out ideas and re-work examples to suit my pages or just see how things work. I've included links to useful sites, reference articles, technical tutorials and a handy glossary of Computer terms.
These Web Design and Development pages are my main interest at the moment whilst I try to improve and develop this Site. I started to re-vamp this Resource Web section in 'June 05, so it was a bit 'fresher' looking. What a job its turned out to be! At least its made me review and update what I'd published during the last year or so. This 'All Topics Index' is one of the 'improvements' I've made using tips I've picked up over the last eighteen months since the Resurce Section was originally published.
These Workshop pages are a collection of 'works in progress', as whilst I try to improve and develop my own Site, I'm finding more and more tips, tricks and articles from people who've 'been there and done it' already. I try out ideas and re-work examples to suit my pages or just see how things work. Content may change frequently. These workshops may also appear under the relevant section menus. They are all placed here for convenience. The revamp of this Resource Web Section started life here.
This section covers information about this Site, this Resource Web section, this Index system. Also included is the site policy. Whilst this is not a commercial site, I felt it necessary to include these pages to (hopefully) ensure everyone understands what this site is about and how I run it.

Another new section for 2005! It started with a book on Runes, a present from my family for Christmas back in 1993.
I have occasionally picked it up over the years, and read a few pages, but nothing more. Then for the heck of it I did a search on the web the other day and ever since I have been looking for old languages, alphabets and symbols. As usual I was knocked over by the amount of information available. This is collection of my favourite links and bits picked up here and there.
Have a look you might (also) be hooked!

This is what got me started on old languages and symbology. A book on Runes, a Christmas present back in 1993. I have occasionally picked it up over the years, and read a few pages, but nothing more. Now I have a bit more time I've been reading up on it a bit more. Needless to say as soon as I looked on the web, I found stacks of information. Just the stones and their meanings for now, I'll produce a links list next.

This is a brilliant 'language'. The telly program "Time Team" got me going on this one. Really clever 'graffiti'.

Reading the I Ching involves casting coins or yarrow stalks to build a series of 6 lines called a "hexagram". Each line is either Yin (the passive or feminine force) or Yang (the active or masculine force). Pick the bones out of that. This is going to take some time to fathom out!

This is an 'oldy but goody'. An old girlfriend was well into this and the results were surprising. Not to be taken too seriously unless you want to upset yourself.

This is an odd one. Not looked at it in any detail yet. Its going to need time to get even a basic understanding.

This is probably my favourite one. With the help of the 'Discovery Channel', I'm detirmined to get this one sussed out. Brilliant symbols.

A little collection of 'findings' about me.
